Our editors conduct independent research including in-person visits, consultations, and analysis of publicly available information.

Our Review Process
Flagship guides — our most curated category rankings — go through a structured editorial review:

Conflict of Interest Policy
The Windsor Guide maintains strict editorial independence. Our editors do not accept gifts, payments, or incentives from businesses in exchange for favorable editorial coverage or ranking placement. Staff with personal or financial relationships to a business do not participate in that business's evaluation. All ranking decisions are made collectively and reviewed by senior editorial staff.
Sponsorship Transparency Statement
The Windsor Guide offers paid sponsorship opportunities that help fund our independent editorial operations. Sponsored placements are always clearly labeled with a "Sponsored" badge and are visually distinct from editorial rankings. Sponsorship never influences ranking position, editorial score, or the content of our reviews. A business can be both sponsored and editorially ranked — these are entirely independent tracks.
